About Princeville Golf Club

The Makai Course at Princeville is a championship caliber track in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. The course is located in Kauai, the Garden Isle of Hawaii and has quickly become a golf destination worthy of any serious golfer’s bucket list.

Princeville Makai Golf course was the first ever solo design by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.
The course was rated in the Top 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses in America by Golf Digest in 2015 and 2016.
The course was ranked #3 in the state of Hawaii by Golfweek.
The course was ranked in the Top 5 Great Golf Settings by National Geographic Traveler.
The signature hole is a 213 yard Par 3 (Hole 7) that has a stunning view of the Kauai’s north shore

The renowned Princeville Makai Golf Club was redesigned in 2009.

The Makai Course winds it way around serene lakes, native woodlands and the spectacular coastline with views of Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay. The course plays to a par 72 with six different sets of tees that can be stretched to more than 7,200 yards from the tips.

The renovation by Robert Trent Jones Jr. features the introduction of Seashore Paspalum turf grass on to all fairways and greens, providing spectacular playing surfaces for golfers of all skill levels. Additional improvements include the reconfiguring greens complexes and green surrounds, as well as bold reshaping of all bunkers. The signature 7th hole on the Makai Course plays to 213 yards from the back tees. It consists of a challenging tee shot over scenic cliffs, onto to a green which is surrounded by brilliant white bunkers and surreal views of the mountains and Pacific Ocean.

For the casual golfer who wants to enjoy a leisure round of golf with family and friends, Princeville Makai Golf Club also offers a 9-hole Woods Course. The Woods Course is a fun and relaxed layout, winding through the native woodlands of Kauai's north shore.

We're just 15 minutes away from the center of Paris and easy to go to by public transport (bus, tram, metro or train) or.by car and there is plenty of parking spots around. Whether you've never played golf before, a beginner, a good golfer, or a pro, you will love it!

Our simulators are state-of-the-art but very easy-to-use. In one click, you can choose to play the full course or just a selection of holes; you can adjust several parameters and display modes and customize the gaming experience and difficulty: the tee-box that is right for you, wind strength, pin position, green speed, fairway hardness, etc ...) or you can simply pick the default settings and jump start your golf round. You can also try one of the 35 scoring systems available, for more fun.

You can also choose to take a golf lesson on this course, and enjoy the precision of trajectory and ball flight measures and the beautiful surroundings imagery.
